A breath-taking ride
The Crown is one of the longest standing nameplates in Toyota’s history and this premium sedan demonstrates why. Built with master craftsmanship, sleek and sophisticated styling and matched by advanced, all-wheel drive hybrid performance, the 2026 Crown redefines what it means to be a sedan in today’s market.

A comfortable sanctuary on the road
The 2026 Crown expresses a modern, minimalist aesthetic with strong bodylines that flow from front to back to emphasize its dignified appearance, and large alloy wheels to telegraph its sporty driving attitude. Standard features include a fixed panoramic moonroof, multi-beam LED headlamps, and full-width rear lighting, while Beyond Zero badging proclaims its exclusively-electrified credentials.
Inside, the 2026 Crown provides a cabin defined by exemplary comfort and attention to detail. The Crown features an island architecture that’s spacious yet puts everything within easy reach. Notable features include heated and ventilated front row seats, heated rear seats, and a leather-wrapped and heated steering wheel thoughtfully designed with intuitive controls for common vehicle functions.

Exhilarating to drive
Under the hood, the Crown is exclusively electrified, with a choice of two impressive hybrid powertrains.
The Toyota Crown Limited grade is built around a fourth-generation Toyota Hybrid System – featuring a 2.5L four-cylinder engine, two electric motors, and an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission. The result is 236 horsepower with an estimated fuel efficiency of 5.7L/100km (city/highway combined). This model features on-demand AWD with a separate, rear-mounted electric motor to power the rear wheels when needed.
The Toyota Crown Platinum grade features the Toyota HYBRID MAX powertrain. This delivers 340 horsepower and an impressive 400 lb-ft of torque. The HYBRID MAX system features a 2.4L turbocharged engine, torque-heavy electric motors, and a direct shift six-speed automatic. The result is exhilarating performance and an estimated fuel efficiency of 7.8L/100km (city/highway combined). These models feature full-time electronic AWD with a rear eAxle featuring a high-output, water-cooled electric motor, plus Toyota’s Adaptive Variable Suspension system, and a dynamic rear steering system.

Crown’s advanced technologies
Every Crown is a technology showcase – including the Toyota Multimedia system. This system is a bundle of smart connectivity technologies that keep drivers informed and safe while simplifying their lives behind the wheel. Toyota Multimedia features wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a suite of Connected Services like Service Connect, Safety Connect, Remote Connect and Drive Connect.
The 2026 Crown’s also features an 11-speaker JBL Clari-Fi Premium Audio system including 12.3” touchscreen display, a 12.3” multi-information display, five USB charging ports, and a wireless charging system for smart phones.

Safety features of the 2026 Crown
The 2026 Crown is equipped with many advanced safety features designed to protect passengers and help drivers avoid accidents. These technologies combine sensors, cameras, and intelligent assistance systems to improve safety on the road. First, one of the most important systems is Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 – the newest version of Toyota’s suite of active safety technologies and capabilities that includes several driver-assistance technologies. Its safety technologies include: Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian (Daytime & Low-Light) & Daytime Bicycle Detection, Intersection Support & Emergency Steering Assist, Full Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control with Curve Speed Management, Lane Tracing Assist with Enhanced Line & Road Recognition, Automatic High Beams, and Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist and Road Edge Detection.
Safety is also strengthened by technologies that monitor the environment around the vehicle. The Blind Spot Monitor alerts the driver when another vehicle is in a hard-to-see area. The car also includes a backup camera, a panoramic view monitor, and Intuitive Parking Assist with Auto Braking, which make parking easier and reduce the risk of collisions during low-speed maneuvers.
In addition, the 2026 Crown includes passive safety equipment such as eight airbags, Toyota’s Star Safety System, and an Electronic Parking with Brake Hold. These systems help protect the occupants in the event of an accident.
