EVERYTHING AT A TOUCH
When trying to identify what makes Prime different from other Prius models the available 11.6" touchscreen is a good place to start. Built with smartphone logic, you can swipe through different settings and controls while still keeping things like navigation on the screen. Available Qi wireless smartphone charging, available intelligent parking assist, smart key system, and push button start are just a few of the simple conveniences that Prius Prime brings to the table.
INNOVATIONS FOR LIFE
For Toyota, safety isn't an option. Toyota Safety Sense P (TSS-P) is standard on every 2018 Prius Prime, and includes a pre-collision avoidance system with pedestrian detection that assists in warning the driver of potential dangers. Also included are automatic high beams, lane departure alert with steering assist, as well as dynamic radar cruise control. You'll also find Toyota's renowned Star Safety Sytem included with the Prime.
THE FUTURE HAS NEVER LOOKED SO GOOD
Prime's streamlined design isn't just for turning heads. Its aerodynamic shape, low, wide stance, and high strength lightweight materials, like Toyota's-first carbon-fibre-reinforced polymer rear hatch, all work together to reduce drag and improve fuel efficiency. Based on your driving habits and road conditions, Prime can be run on gasoline or electric motor alone, or a combination of both to help optimize ride comfort and increase fuel efficiency. The Prius Prime has one of the shortest charge time in its class - 5 hours and 30* minutes to charge fully using standard household outlet and less than half that time** using a 240 V outlet.
*Charge time is for standard 120 V household outlet. Always plug-in in accordance with Owner's Manual.
**Based on Natural Resource Canada 2017 Fuel Consumption Guide published ratings for plug-in hybrid vehicles. Charge time is for 240 V outlet (charging station). Always plug-in in accordance with Owner's Manual.
